Heart4Children’s mission is to educate, equip, and empower Honduran children to make change.
Heart4Children operates as Niños de la Luz (“Children of the Light”) near La Ceiba, Honduras, and consists of a home for boys and a community school for both boys and girls. As a faith-based organization, our goal is to nurture the whole child, meeting physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs to encourage their growth into mature, self-sufficient adults.

children finish elementary.

More than half of all Hondurans live in extreme poverty, and adequate
jobs are scarce.
Equipping our children with education, guidance, and training prepares
them to break the cycle of generational poverty.

Many Honduran children lack resources and opportunities to
change their circumstances.
Empowering our students with hope in God and with skills they need enables them to achieve their goals and provide for their futures.
